GLUTATHIONE – It is the most powerful antioxidant occurring naturally in all of 70-100 trillion cells that make up the human body. The reason why it is called the master of all antioxidants because it contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Selenium.

GLUTATHIONE is a small protein composed of 3 amino acids called cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine produced normally by the body in response to today’s environment such as air and water pollution, chemicals and pesticides in the food we eat that cause cell damage.  “The greater the exposure to toxins, the faster the body uses up its supply of glutathione. Without the protection of Glutathione, cells die at a faster rate, making people age quicker & putting them at risk for toxin induced diseases including cancer.”

GLUTATHIONE neutralizes the harmful effects of free radicals. It is involved in the detoxification, it binds to toxins such as heavy metals, solvents, pesticides, and transforms them into that form that can be excreted in urine or bile. Glutathione is required to maintain the normal function of the immune system.

GLUTATHIONE acts as a Tyrosinase Inhibitor. Tyrosinase is an enzyme that breaks down the biosynthesis of melanin. Melanin is the substance that is responsible for skin darkening.

VITAMIN C – Ascorbic acid is a water-soluble vitamin that is necessary for the body to form collagen in bones, cartilage, muscle, and blood vessels, and aids in the absorption of iron. Dietary sources of vitamin C include fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons.

VITAMIN C affects pigmentation in two ways: The creation of melanin is an oxidative process and so a powerful antioxidant like Vitamin C could counteract the oxidative process required to create melanin. Vitamin C also plays a role in the inhibition of the enzyme Tyrosinase. Tyrosinase is essential for the formation of melanin so if it’s blocked, then the action of pigmentation is reduced.

VITAMIN C – When taken together with glutathione, vitamin c provides the acid environment needed for glutathione to dissolve and remain in solution for greater absorption.

Glutathione needs to be taken with an appropriate amount of vitamin c to be able to maximize its lightening effect, which as advised, is double the amount of your glutathione intake.

ESTHERA-GSH CONTAINS 350MG OF VITAMIN C. IT IS THEN ADVISABLE TO TAKE AN EXTRA 500MG OF ANY BRAND OF VITAMIN C TO MAXIMIZE THE EFFECT OF 400MG OF GLUTATHIONE IN OUR PRODUCT.
