How It Works

The reason the skin becomes lightened in using ESTHERA-GSH is because it reverses the dark melanin pigments turning to a light pigments and reduces melanocytes which produces melanin: the less melanin, the LIGHTER the skin. ESTHERA-GSH’s lightening process starts inside the skin (derma layer) going outside (epidermal layer), that’s the reason why it takes time to be able to see initial change in your skin tone. The lightening process goes from head to foot meaning that you will have a lightened even skin tone in your whole body. It is advisable to still continue taking the pills even though you have achieved the skin tone you want.

PROCESS:

1. The primary determinant of variability in skin color is the Melanin and the melanocyte, the cell that synthesizes it. Glutathione that starts the lightening process is the main component of Esthera-GSH.

2. This is the point where the metabolic pathway of melanin begins. As you see in the diagram GSH Reduced Glutathione blocks the enzyme Tyrosinase that mediates the formation of melanin.

process 2

3. The oral use of Esthera-GSH blocks the Tyrosinase activity. Once it has been blocked, the metabolic pathway then reverses its course going to the synthesis of light pigmented melanin called Phaeomelanin instead of synthesizing dark pigmented melanin called Eumelanin. The cycle continuously flows as long as the presence of glutathione co-exists in the metabolic pathway of melanin. Finally, light skin will reveal to the surface gradually changing your complexion.

The advisable dosage of glutathione as anti-oxidant is 10-20mg per kilogram of body weight. In order to use as a skin lightening agent, it has to be taken at a dosage of 20-40mg per kilogram of body weight. For instance, 70kg x 20mg = 1400mg. It has to be taken with an appropriate amount of vitamin c to be able to maximize its whitening effect, which as advised, is double the amount of your glutathione intake. As a precaution, please consult your doctor first before taking any kind of supplement.
